We are working with a Building Wholesalers who is a trusted supplier of high-quality construction materials, serving North Dublin and surrounding areas. They specialise in providing builders, contractors, and DIY enthusiasts with a wide range of top-tier products, including timber, insulation, plumbing supplies, and more. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for an Trade Counter Assistant to join their successful sales team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Ensuring every customer interaction at the Trade Counter meets their high company standards.
- Assisting customers with product selection, detailing benefits and technical features.
- Handling cash transactions and using their in-house stock system.
- Working with the Shop Manager to merchandise and maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment.
- Communicating effectively with suppliers to manage product sourcing and delivery.
- Supporting both their Internal and External Sales Teams to achieve branch goals.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in a Retail, Sales, or Trade Counter environment.
- Familiarity with building materials/products is a plus, but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Proficient with IT and confident using computer systems.
- A dependable and time-conscious individual.
