As a Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery of services to clients.This Leadership role encompasses, sales support, client contract governance & communication, Installation, Service and Maintenance operations, QHSE, HR, Technology, Asset Care, Project Management, and integrity in delivering exceptional services to our clients. The role has full responsibility for resource management (in-house and subcontract), customer satisfaction, and Technical Service Delivery.

About the Role:

  • Take responsibility for operations, ensuring strong customer focus through excellent service delivery. 
  • Support the business strategy of continuous improvement, growth and retention of new and existing business through the development of long-term client relationships.
  • Ensure all organisational services are successfully delivered to our customers/clients, and quality, time, scope and costs are measured and controlled. 
  • Hold formal and informal meetings with existing clients to build sustainable and profitable relationships to meet their needs. 
  • Implement and sustain ISO 9001/18001/27001/45001 compliance. 
  • Ensure that the operations teams adhere to their roles and responsibilities in delivering on time on budget service delivery. 
  • Ensure best in class HR policies and practices. 
  • Ensure the organization operates at the highest compliance, quality and safety standards. 
  • Communication and engage, formally and informally, daily with your teams.  
  • Take accountability and responsibility for managing any operational issues arising within the business. 
  • Ensure that resource planning, scheduling, service delivery, invoicing and customer engagement is in place on a weekly basis for the efficient and productive delivery of services. 
  • Take ownership of compliance. Communicate any compliance or client concerns to the Managing Director in good time. 
  • Issue weekly and monthly reports detailing key performance indicators in relation to business objectives 
  • Monitor and audit customer sites for compliance and service delivery
  • Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement and sustainability. Bring these to our clients to add value and improve client outcomes. 
  • Be an ambassador for the business through exceptional performance, positive values and behaviors, insightful investigations, clear communications and collaborative organisational development. 
  • Lead weekly and monthly meeting to review business objectives – play an active role in business growth 
  • Be flexible and willing to carry out other duties as may be assigned to you by the organisation from time to time. Such work can be outside the area of your normal duties.

About You:

  • Extensive experience of Engineering, Project management and Technical Operations, Service Desk Operations, team supervision, and people management.
  • Have previous experience in operational management preferably in the HVAC environment  or Utilities industry with the ability to communicate at all levels to the stakeholders involved, especially technical and commercial.
  • Have a third level qualification preferable to Masters level 9, and industry experience in a technical discipline with experience in the operations management of HVAC, BMS, electrical, or mechanical.
  • Be strong leader in people management and be able to communicate effectively to staff/service providers and client alike.
