We are working with a highly successful specialist international distribution and services company who have an amazing opportunity for a highly motivated Sustainability Manager to join their vibrant and enthusiastic team. You will bring your sustainability management knowledge and expertise, commercial acumen and collaboration skills to this exciting and pivotal role.
About the role:
- Develop and deliver the company’s sustainability strategy and initiatives both internally and externally.
- Work with the leadership team to define and implement the strategy.
- Monitor and analyse trends and customer feedback.
- Work closely with packaging suppliers.
- Feed into regular supplier reviews.
- Keep up to date with new legislation in the packaging and product sector.
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing team to build the companies profile within the sustainability sphere.
About you:
- Relevant qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience driving sustainability issues.
- Knowledge of product development, ideally of consumer packaging.
- Strong knowledge of product supply chains and current sustainability topics and issues.
- Drive for achieving a high standard of work.
- Proficient in report writing.
- Excellent IT Skills.
