In partnership with Beko, The People Group are looking for an experienced Service & Operations Manager to co-ordinate all aspects of operations within Ireland, achieving optimum business performance, ensuring operational compliance & efficiency, maximising growth opportunities while striving for continuous improvement.
This exciting role will report directly to the Commercial Director for Ireland. This role will work closely with the Logistics and Service Heads and teams in the UK to ensure the key operations of Warehousing & Distribution, Reverse Logistics, Spare Parts Logistics and Customer Service, are managed effectively.
Here are some of the key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the Logistics and Customer Service experience provided to Beko Ireland’s retail customers and consumers is of the highest possible standards.
- Responsibility for managing service delivery, cost management, revenue enablement and people leadership across multiple facilities and multiple functions.
- Work with the Reverse Logistics Manager to optimise Reverse Logistics in Ireland.
- Work with the Beko Ireland & UK teams to review the best possible Logistics and Service strategies for Ireland.
- Play an active part with representative bodies such as White Goods Association, IBEC, RGII and ERC.
- Take Responsibility for Health & Safety and Facilities management in Ireland.
Some of key skills you’ll need to be successful in this role:

- Be reasonably IT competent - including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Be a skilled negotiator to ensure collective success for the business in Ireland.

Experience:
- At least 5 years’ knowledge of the Irish Consumer Electronics industry (Preferably Major Domestic Appliance - MDA).
- Extensive experience and a strong background in the Operations sector, working with Irish retailers and/or a background in Logistics and Customer Service.
- Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment with understanding of budgeting processes, cost control and inventory management.
- Experience of auditing, monitoring, and reviewing the quality of Operations and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Education:
- Ideally you should have a third level qualification with an Irish Leaving Certificate attained at a minimum.
