This role is ideal for someone wanting to lead the technical agenda for the business, working closing with the customers ensuring they always get the correct specification of product. You will have the ability to lead BRC, manage the supplier approval process, be "hands-on" on the management team and lead the technical team through coaching and mentoring.
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and external quality audit systems.
- Maintaining a strong and accurate record of Quality Assurance.
- People management and senior management reporting.
- Continued forward thinking strategy planning to keep in line with changing standards and legislation.
- Overlooking new product development projects.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- 8+ years experience as a Technical Manager with PCF experience in Chilled or Frozen.
- Strong direct experience with retailer QA programs.
- Excellent business acumen including IT skills, problem solving, communication skills, enthusiasm, attention to detail and ability to work within a team.
- Strong people management and reporting skills proven through working in a previous position.
