Join Europe’s leading Whiskey facility based from Dundalk. 

Role Purpose:
Lead operative in the Operations Department responsible for the blending, bottling and cask movement activities on site. 

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • As lead operative ensuring the smooth running of the line, blending plant and the accurate movement of casks.
  • To ensure that all tasks are performed according to plan and in line with procedures.
  • Be responsible for coordinating packaging stocks and notifying management of the need for reordering items.
  • To perform all activities on the packaging line and blending plant and know the workings of each part of the plant extensively.
  • To maintain records for all packaging, blending and cask movement activities and ensure full traceability throughout the process.
  • To be extremely diligent and ensure the correct and accurate blending of spirits, movement of cask and bottling of spirits.
  • To ensure the packaging line and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy.
  • Responsible for adhering to all relevant Health and Safety, Food Safety and Environmental Procedures at all times.
  • Responsibility for liaising with and building strong working relationships with all internal and external customers. 
  • Consistently comply with all Company policies & procedures.
  • Maintain all company, customer, supplier and employee data securely in line with current data protection legislation and best practice cyber security.
  • Immediately report any issues or accidents in line with Company policy to Management.
  • Attend all training courses as required. 

Skills & Qualifications Required:

  • Based on the location of the facility, you must have own transport
  • Preferred applicants come from a food/drink production background
  • Must have experience in operating a production line and has experience overseeing a small team of staff.

Working day:

  • Roll is 50% days and 50% evening shift next year and will develop to a full evening shift roll in 2024 year.

Hours when in days 

  • 8:00 am to 17:00 pm Monday to Thursday 
  • 8:00 am to 17:00 pm Friday

When on Evenings 

  • 5:00pm to midnight Monday to Friday .
  • You will receive 20% shift allowance when on evenings.
