Senior Marketing & Events Manager - Professional Services


An excellent opportunity to be part of a high performing marketing team in a dynamic and fast paced Professional Services environment. Working with the Head Marketing Operations, the successful candidate will support the delivery of marketing strategy and key events by leading out on some of the firm’s major marketing programmes and initiatives, both strategically and operationally, bringing cutting edge ideas and solutions to the market creating business development opportunities. The role requires a marketing professional with a full mix of expertise and ability to influence at a senior level.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Senior marketing management experience, ideally in a professional services firm or major B2B organisation.
  • Proven success in building and driving high quality, innovative, strategic and audience-centric marketing plans. 
  • Full stack marketing skills – on-line and off-line including advertising, sponsorship, thought leadership, PR, communications, Event management. 
  • Clear proven capability in producing large scale best in class events. 
  • Excellent ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Experience working in a complex matrix organisation to deliver results. Ability to influence, inform and challenge senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to articulate and document the rationale for proposed solutions.
  • Capability and insight to qualitatively and quantatively assess the success of strategies, projects or activities and make recommendations based on this analysis.


  • Strategy and planning: drive and agree strategic marketing plans, key Event programmes and initiatives.
  • Project management: ensure marketing campaigns and activities are delivered to a high standard, on time and on budget. Review and analysis of major activities against KPIs.
  • Relationship management: collaborate with business stakeholders on strategy and projects. Build relationships and become trusted advisor for relevant areas of the business.
  • Budget planning, allocation and management. 

Initial contract of 6 months
