An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Customer Growth Manager to join a leading consumer financial services and insurance business during a significant phase of growth and transformation.

This role is ideal for an analytically strong commercial professional who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment, and is motivated by using data and insight to drive smarter decision-making, stronger customer outcomes, and sustainable business growth.

You will take a lead role in shaping customer growth strategy across retention, renewals, acquisition and customer value, using insight to influence commercial decisions, optimise performance, and identify opportunities to improve conversion, persistency and long-term profitability.

Working within a highly collaborative and evolving business, you will sit at the intersection of commercial, pricing, marketing, CRM, digital and customer teams, playing a central role in delivering an ambitious growth agenda with real visibility and impact across the organisation.

The Role

  • Lead the development of customer growth strategies across retention, renewals, acquisition and customer value
  • Use customer, trading and channel performance data to identify opportunities to improve conversion, persistency, churn and profitability
  • Optimise renewal and acquisition journeys through data-led interventions, segmentation and continuous performance analysis
  • Build and enhance customer insight frameworks to support smarter targeting, next-best-action strategies and improved customer outcomes
  • Lead structured test-and-learn initiatives, including hypothesis development, test design, measurement and post-implementation analysis
  • Translate complex customer and commercial data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders
  • Partner cross-functionally with teams across marketing, CRM, pricing, digital and commercial operations to improve business performance
  • Identify customer behaviour trends, switching signals and growth opportunities across the customer lifecycle
  • Support the development and application of churn, propensity, segmentation and customer lifetime value models to drive retention and acquisition performance
  • Build strong reporting and insight frameworks that help embed a more data-driven culture across the business

About You

  • 7+ years’ experience in a commercial, customer growth, analytics or retention-focused role within insurance, financial services, subscription-led or other high-volume B2C environments
  • Strong track record of using data and insight to improve customer retention, renewals, acquisition performance, conversion and customer value
  • Experience working across customer analytics, segmentation, behavioural insight, CRM or lifecycle performance
  • Commercially astute with the ability to turn complex data into clear actions and recommendations that drive business performance
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment where commercial performance and customer outcomes are closely linked
  • Comfortable operating with ownership and accountability in an evolving business environment
  • A proactive and curious problem-solver who can identify opportunities, challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement
  • Experience in a regulated environment, particularly insurance or financial services, would be highly advantageous

Why This Role?

  • High level of ownership and visibility across a key commercial growth agenda
  • Opportunity to shape customer retention, acquisition and analytics strategy within a well-established business
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional decision-making
  • A collaborative, commercially focused culture with strong long-term career potential
  • Hybrid working model and the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a transformation environment
