We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Events Manager to join the marketing team of a leading Big 4 professional services firm.
This is a pivotal leadership role for an ambitious events professional who combines strategic vision, creative flair, and operational excellence. You will lead the design and execution of a best-in-class events programme that strengthens client relationships, showcases the company’s expertise, and enhances their brand presence in the market.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of delivering impactful events for senior corporate audiences, as well as the ability to drive innovation, manage complex stakeholder needs, and foster excellence across both internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of the firm’s event portfolio.
- Develop and implement event standards that ensure consistency, creativity, and brand alignment across all programmes.
- Manage event objectives, KPIs, and post-event evaluation to ensure measurable business impact.
- Oversee an annual events calendar, optimising resources and aligning with firm priorities.
- Deliver seamless end-to-end event management, from planning to execution, ensuring exceptional attendee experiences.
- Manage and negotiate supplier and contractor relationships, ensuring value and service excellence.
- Act as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, ensuring events meet commercial and relationship-building goals.
- Oversee budgets, driving cost efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of delivery.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in event management within large-scale corporates, B2B, or agency environments.
- Strong expertise in event planning and logistics with a track record of delivering exceptional experiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align senior leaders.
- Analytical approach, with experience in event measurement, ROI tracking, and reporting.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing budgets, contracts, and vendors.
