This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your career in an established FMCG business and manage strong profile brands, across multiple categories in the Irish market. The focus of this role is to lead execution and in market activation of the marketing & commercial activities across a number of existing brands within our clients portfolio. There are also ongoing projects to identify new trends and introduce new brands to the Irish market. Ecommerce and digital marketing are ever evolving and a candidate with experience and interest in these areas would help further the development of these areas in our clients business.
Responsibilities:
- Build comprehensive brand plans for the Irish market, to reflect the strategy and priorities discussed with the Brand Partner.
- Implement annual brand plans including NPD through brand-driven activation, with National Account Managers and Sales Managers.
- Manage the critical contacts and relationships with Brand Partners on a day-to-day basis.
- Manage Principal review meetings and ensure we deliver a high standard of service and commitment, and meet relevant deadlines.
- Strictly manage and adhere to agreed marketing budgets, deliver agreed targets and customer/brand promotional activities.
- Manage brand commercials and pricing strategy with the Marketing Manager and Finance – customer/product pricing and net margin targets. Own Brand P&Ls.
- Manage NPD implementation; evaluate and develop new opportunities where possible.
Experience:
- Degree in business or marketing.
- + 4 Years in marketing or retail account management.
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness is vital; possess strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills, budget management.
- High energy self-starter as well as collaborative team player.
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of the Irish grocery sector and major customers.
- Ecommerce or digital marketing experience an advantage.
