We are seeking a strong and experienced Sales Representative for a very established, global market leading manufacturer in the construction sector. This company has a range of competitive products sold to both the commercial, as well as residential markets. They are enjoying an exciting period of growth and as part of their expansionary plans they are keen to hire an enthusiastic and driven individual with a solid record of success in the construction sector.
Ideally this role requires someone to present, promote and sell this company’s products to existing and prospective customers within the builder’s merchants, contractor, specifier and architectural professions. You will be responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships. This is an opportunity to develop a genuine career in a well-respected, established and progressive business.
You will inherit an established customer base whilst being tasked to identify and win new business also.
Mainly Leinster focussed with some Midlands and Galway
Candidates should ideally possess:
- Excellent understanding of the sales process with a demonstrable track record of successful territory development.
- Commercial and articulate skills with an analytical mind and a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.
- Confidence in your ability to negotiate and deliver results.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
- Confidence to deal with people at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail with a practical “Can do” attitude.
- Experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Roofing or building materials.
- An understanding of the construction industry.
