A leading food and nutrition cooperative with a strong international presence is seeking a Sales Manager Omni Channel. This role is dedicated to managing relationships with a portfolio of customers and channel partners in the food industry, driving value through strategic and tactical sales. Collaborating closely with ingredient category managers, the successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of a tailored sales strategy, leveraging market insights and customer data to identify opportunities, enhance value, and optimize portfolio performance.
The role focuses on driving business growth by managing operations to exceed targets and representing customers during contract negotiations. It involves building a strong network for sales execution, collaborating with internal teams to deliver excellent customer service, and identifying new market opportunities. Key responsibilities include gathering market intelligence, leading growth initiatives through partnerships and acquisitions, and overseeing customer communications and reporting. The position also requires fostering cross-functional collaboration, driving commercial excellence, and developing value-add opportunities with Category, R&D, Marketing, and Market Insights teams.
The ideal you
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience in sales in a B2B context in the food industry.
- Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence people across both internal and external business networks.
- You are results driven, self-motivated and resourceful and can manage and develop people to reach best in class professional standards.
- Evidence of operational excellence and results delivery.
- Evidence of accurate planning and forecasting.
