As Sales Manager you will take ownership on delivering the company sales strategy and ensure that every aspect of the sales activity is not only monitored but optimised for success. 
A natural leader you will support, train and coach the existing sales team to ensure that their sales performance is maximised, and individual sales targets are achieved and ideally surpassed. Working closely with the sales and marketing team you will ensure that lead generation activities fuel sales appointments and drive conversion rates. 
In addition, you will partner with operational and finance teams to ensure a seamless onboarding process and the flawless setup of initial customer interactions.

About You:

  • Be a strategic thinker who can develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets. This involves analysing market trends, understanding customer needs, and adapting sales approaches to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Performance management of sales team 
  • Have customer retention experience.
  • Key account management experience
  • Be a problem solver; a sales environments often present challenges, and a good sales manager should be adept at problem-solving. Whether it's addressing customer concerns, resolving internal conflicts, or adjusting strategies in response to market changes, the ability to find solutions is key.
  • Have a result orientated mindset as you will be judged by the team's performance. Having a results-oriented mindset involves setting realistic goals, tracking progress, and implementing adjustments as needed to ensure that sales targets are consistently met or exceeded. 
  • CRM system experience
  • Tender preparation experience

Requirements:

  • Strong Field Salespeople Management background 
  • A waste management background is preferred but not essential. 
  • Must be process driven.  KPI focused.
