Still here? Righto, lets recap what they need: They are looking for a dynamic, confident, driven and proven sales person, to come onboard manage and develop Irish & UK Customers, with the main responsibility being to drive sales and profitability.

On a day-to-day basis, this is what you will be jumping out of bed to do:

  • Build and maintain new customer and market opportunities.
  • Build long term partnerships with key accounts.
  • Develop and deliver integrated category promotions plans.
  • Manage the launch of new products.
  • Manage customer P&L for relevant categories.
  • Volume forecasting.
  • Increase Sales.
  • Work closely with Production development and Supply Chain to run day to day operations.

To hit the ground running, you will need:

You will have spent significant time in FMCG sales already and have a solid understanding of the competitive landscape. You’ll also be pretty resilient and flexible in your approach to work as it can be a pretty fast paced environment.

The specifics of the experience and skills required are:

  • Extensive experience in FMCG Sales (ideally as a NAM).
  • Experience in a complex multi-category, multi-channel team.
  • Communication – ability to turn numbers into stories & present at all levels.
  • Multi-tasking - can manage multi-task projects simultaneously, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.
  • Customer relationships – drives results through people and builds long term partnerships.
  • Influencing – ability to influence outcomes.
  • Decision making – follows solid processes & has sound judgement to make decisions critical to success.
  • Highly Organised – can manage a high-volume workload, with the ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Glad to see you are have gotten to the end, however, one final thing you must be willing to upsell to current customers and go out there and open doors to new customers.
