The People Group are delighted to be assisting a leading Irish hotel group in their search for a Sales & Marketing Executive. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the hotels online presence across multiple social media channels.
- Create social content for the hotel & liaise with the Management team as / when necessary, when doing so.
- Create a social media calendar of activity & take ownership of the same (i.e. a detailed plan of all upcoming social media activity).
- Work collaboratively with the Group Digital Marketing Manager on website content & other projects.
- Compile monthly & weekly metrics to show follower growth, social impressions, etc.
- Take the initiative & be creative with new & innovative growth strategies.
- Assist in wider marketing campaigns when required to do so.
- Perform research & other data analysis when needed.
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by the hotel Management team.
Experience & skills sought:
- A minimum of 1 – 2 years’ sales & marketing experience within the hospitality sector.
- The successful candidate must be innovative & creative.
- Excellent skills of communication are a must (both written & verbal).
- Flexibility with working hours, with priority given to sales & social opportunities.
- Good skills of organisation with an ability to multitask.
Location: Galway city (working on site)
