We’re working with a world market and technology leader in the field of hot food preparation for professional kitchens. Due to their growth in the Irish market they are looking to bring on board a Regional Technical Manager.
Role Overview:
- Provide technical and management support in Ireland and North Ireland, this includes support to the Service Partner Network, customers and the internal teams
- Manage the territory assigned by evaluating existing service partners, identifying areas where more service support is required
- Carry out technical training of Service partners, service agents and when required noncertified service companies.
- Complete annual assessments for service partners in the territory assigned according to the service plan.
- Collaborate in the review of the customer satisfaction surveys, provide feedback when required.
- Analysing and resolving escalated technical issues or complaints from the technical helpdesk.
- Carry out customer visits for troubleshooting, undertake tandem visits with service partners
- Support and coordinate the install and commission of units for National Exhibitions.
- Provide spare parts support for Spares Partners/Engineers/End-users/Dealers.
- Analyse tasks related to units with multiple visits and provide feedback
- Available to support service partners and customers when required after regular hours.
- Able to travel in the assigned territory up to 50% of the time
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong technical background. Able to learn new technical information, able to understand electric wiring diagrams and understand the basics of a gas system.
- Hands on experience doing diagnoses and/or repairs in other industries.
- Able to use basic diagnose instruments such as a multimeter, gas pressure gauge
- Technical college or university degree, minimum 2 years in a technical program or technical apprenticeship program completion.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a technician, lead hand or supervisor. Example of desired industries: Food Equipment Industry, HVAC, automotive, heavy equipment, oil and gas.
- Experience doing technical training for other technicians or vendors is desired but not required.
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power point, basic level.
- Recognize gas, electric or HVAC certification is desired.
- Have a valid full driver’s license and a valid passport for international travel
