Regional Sales Manager - Midlands

Are you looking for a new challenge? Are you a sales champ? If so, why not Immerse yourself in award-winning culture! We are working on a Regional Sales Manager role with a Market leader and household name in the white goods sector. 

Responsibilities:

  • To grow sales of products within the Independent Channel by increasing the number & quantity of products purchased by both new & existing customers. 
  • To assist in the marketing function by helping with campaigns locally and liaising with the UK marketing department. 
  • To obtain new listings of key products in nominated retail outlets and manage the overall product mix, across categories & price points to increase both margins and sales. 
  • To ensure s/he maximises profit opportunities by working with customers to ensure they have the correct listings and stock available to meet & increase 3rd party customer demand.
  • To develop strong working relationships with key accounts (large independent retailers) to help increase the sales of products.
  • Develop focused promotional activity with each customer, and ensure value for money from funds available i.e. the results of each promotion meet or exceed the objective. 
  • Organise training on key products by liaising with the Product Training Manager, either at a local level or use of central resource.
  • Build links with all relevant departments i.e Sales Departments, Marketing department, Finance department etc. 
  • To provide individual customer reports on Business Warehouse (BW) that measures the performance of the customer so that better business decisions can be made. 

Experience:

  • Sales experience essential. 
  • Industry experience is advantageous but not essential. 
  • High level of communication skills, including written, oral and presentation skills. 
  • Proficiency in the application of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, Word & Powerpoint is essential. 
  • Ambitious self-starter with the confidence and drive to proactively manage their own schedule and time, as well as creating their own opportunities. 
  • Motivated by a competitive target driven environment. 
  • Excellent selling & negotiating skills.
