We’re working with an interesting government agency to fill the position of Press & Communications Officer. This exciting opportunity calls for an experienced and savvy individual with a strong PR and communications background. The role will afford you access and exposure to a network of very senior stakeholders, and requires a skilled and diplomatic communicator who can help shape the messaging and media relations effort of this organisation.

Ideally you should have the following skills and experience:

  • A number of years’ experience in public relations, marketing communications and/or journalism.  
  • Experience of effectively utilising public relations and communications tools and techniques, including media relations. 
  • Some event management experience.

This role will report directly to the Head of Communications & Customer Relations and also work closely with the CEO of the organisation. It will offer the right candidate some great experience and exposure which will afford them an opportunity to develop their PR & Comms. career in a number of different directions.
