A large Irish food manufacturer is seeking a National Account Manager to join their expanding NAM team. The successful candidate will excel in commercial partnerships, focusing on Own Label and Branded products, targeting the Head of Grocery in supermarkets, and managing key accounts effectively
Responsibilities:
- Customer Management: Collaborate with the Head of Grocery Sales and internal stakeholders to manage key supermarket accounts, including building and maintaining relationships, account administration, forecasting, and new product introductions.
- Commercial Targets: Consistently achieve commercial targets by retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones, ensuring steady business growth.
- Growth and Sustainability: Support growth strategies, sustainability initiatives, and process improvements to drive continuous market expansion.
- Cultural Fit: Thrive in an agile, fast-paced, customer-centric environment with a strong commercial and cultural alignment.
- Influence and Engagement: Exhibit exceptional influencing skills to drive the Key Customer Account agenda, working with a well-established team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing national accounts within the supermarket segment.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a history of successful commercial partnerships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills to build and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with Own Label and Branded products is essential.
