We are currently recruiting a Meeting and Events Executive for one of Dublin’s most well-established hotels. Our client is looking to grow their market share in the sectors that they operate in, as well as strengthen existing business relationships and increase sales. This is a dynamic role with opportunities for career progression! 
You are passionate about the hospitality industry and would relish the opportunity to work at a premium hotel. You have excellent organisational and coordination skills, combined with a love for sales and the drive to be successful. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Dealing with clients via telephone and email. 
  • Responding to requests and sales leads in a timely and professional manner endeavouring to convert enquiry to sale.
  • Follow-up and close sales. 
  • Listen to feedback from clients and relay this to the operations team. 
  • Weekly and monthly reports for upper management. 
  • Attend events being held both on-site and off-site. 
  • Sales administration responsibilities. 
  • Plan FAM trips. 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the hospitality industry is preferable but not required. 
  • The ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team. 
  • Strong people skills. 
  • Sales-driven and customer service-focused!
  • Ability to effectively manage your workload and work to deadlines. 

Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin.   

Salary: Highly Competitive
