Marketing Manager

A rapidly growing marketing and distribution business in Ireland is seeking a commercially minded Marketing Manager with strong consumer marketing experience in OTC or consumer healthcare. This is a senior role with full ownership of multiple strategic brands, including high-profile names in the consumer healthcare space.

The role offers the chance to lead a small marketing team, shape brand strategy, drive consumer demand, and deliver measurable commercial growth across digital, retail, and consumer-facing channels.

Role Overview

  • Lead brand strategy and consumer marketing across multiple healthcare brands.
  • Plan and execute integrated campaigns across digital, social, PR, media, and retail.
  • Develop consumer-focused messaging, content, and activations to drive demand and growth.
  • Manage, mentor, and inspire a small marketing team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and brand owners to maximise commercial opportunities.
  • Oversee brand budgets, track performance, and optimise ROI using insights and analytics.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

  • 4–7 years’ experience in Brand Management within OTC, consumer healthcare, or FMCG.
  • Experience managing major consumer healthcare brands
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing campaigns across digital, social, content, media, and PR.
  • Strong understanding of consumer insights, category trends, and shopper behaviour.
  • Commercially astute with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience managing agencies across creative, digital, PR, and media.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and analytics dashboards.

Desirable:

  • Experience with distributor-led brands or international principals.
  • Prior people management or mentoring experience.
  • Familiarity with the Irish and/or UK retail pharmacy and grocery landscapes.
