About the Role:
The duties and responsibilities include troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues on production lines and equipment, installing new projects, conducting preventive and predictive maintenance, establishing a full PPM schedule, supporting the production team to achieve targets, monitoring machine performance and intervening online as soon as any deterioration occurs, using best judgment to determine immediate repair needs, maintaining cleanliness in the work area, participating in training and development, and being flexible for overtime.
About You:
The ideal candidate should have a trade qualification with a strong background in mechanical and electrical work, at least 2 or 3 years of experience in a similar role in a regulated manufacturing environment, multi-skilled and cross-skilled, with experience in diagnostic and troubleshooting in a medium-volume environment, good team player and initiative, mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications, excellent knowledge of Quality, Health, and Safety, experience in planned preventative maintenance, and excellent problem-solving skills with comprehensive knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and PLC based control systems.
The candidate should also have good PC skills and excellent communication skills.
