Key Account Manager

Our client is growing, and has created a new Account Manager role that will look after their customers across categories such as Personal Care/Drinks/Snacking. This role will be responsible for managing multiple brands/categories across a mix of key retailers. A highly autonomous role, you will ensure sales growth, share and profitability for the brands is at the forefront of your day-to-day customer interactions.

Role Overview:

  • Create & Deliver JBP to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Take full ownership of the brand relationships.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Lead regular review meetings with clients.
  • Effectively track performance, including NPD launches and promotions.
  • Maximise Share of Shelf.
  • Monitor your account to provide timely insights to adjust plans where needed.

About you:

  • 4+ years customer facing experience in a National Account role within FMCG.
  • Experience of working with food/snacking/beverages in the convenience channel would be a distinct advantage.
  • Full clean driver’s licence.
  • Good understanding of shopper marketing strategies.
  • Understanding of the core principles of category management.
  • Ability to think through an issue and propose possible solutions.
