Our client is a well-established family-run seafood wholesale and retail business, specialising in high-quality products with over 50 years of industry experience. They are leaders in their industry serving renowned eateries and businesses across Ireland. They are currently seeking an In-House Sales Agent to join their team in Dublin.
About the Role:
- Managing a portfolio of in-house accounts, comprising approximately 200-300 customers, while supporting field representatives in nurturing key accounts to drive sales.
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of all orders through meticulous electronic data input.
- Proactively upselling products to customers, both via phone calls and email correspondence, while effectively handling customer inquiries and addressing pricing-related matters.
- Collaborating and liaising with various departments to provide seamless assistance and support to customers, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintaining customer databases and performing other ad hoc administrative duties as required.
About You:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, coupled with a friendly telephone manner and the ability to articulate ideas effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional multitasking abilities to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ideally, a minimum of 2 years of experience in sales and customer service within the FMCG industry ( not essential).
- Self-motivation and a team-oriented mindset, thriving in a collaborative work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, enabling you to handle data and administrative tasks efficiently.
