Human Resources Manager – Galway


We're working with an established firm which operates in the Travel & Tourism sector. They have ambitious growth plans for 2021 and beyond, and would like to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager. The successful candidate will be a passionate & experienced HR professional who thrives on working in a dynamic, fast-paced, people focused environment. Reporting to the CEO this role is responsible for providing both strategic and operational advice, while managing all aspects of the HR department.

Here are some of the key responsibilities of this role;

  • Partnering with team leaders and managers to provide all HR functions – namely; recruitment, induction, engagement, training, retention, performance and remuneration reviews.
  • Effective management of the HR framework including performance management, resource planning, compliance, & employee development.
  • Continually develop, implement, and maintain company policies, and procedures focusing on compliance with all regulatory and governance frameworks 
  • Collaborate with the sales, operations and risk channels to deliver an aligned approach to people and performance management.
  • Ability to easily gain buy-in for projects and programs and influence internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Extensive knowledge of employee relations, Fair Work and all legal obligations.
