We are currently seeking a highly motivated and interactive individual to join our client team as Head of Sales and Marketing within the Hospitality Industry.
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to take charge of a significant market segment within the hotel's business mix. 
As a key member of their dynamic sales team, you will leverage your exceptional administration and communication skills to excel in this fast-paced role. The successful candidate will enjoy a prominent position at the heart of their corporate landscape.

About the Role:

  • Develop and implement the hotel's annual Sales and Marketing strategy.
  • Coordinate and direct the activities of the Sales and Marketing teams to maximise opportunities across all markets and achieve budget targets and revenues.
  • Manage key corporate accounts, recognising and capitalising on all potential opportunities to maintain and enhance their business relationship.
  • Solicit, negotiate, and secure transient accounts, including rate negotiations and contract confirmations to achieve budgeted goals.
  • Proactively prospect for new accounts, following the sales process to convert leads into valuable business partnerships.

About You:

  • Proven track record of success in a similar managerial role demonstrating the ability to effectively drive sales and marketing strategies to achieve exceptional results.
  • Extensive experience in proactive sales, with a track record of successfully identifying and converting new business opportunities into long-term, high-value accounts.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and key stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making and drive revenue growth.
  • In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including an understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and emerging trends.
  • Proficiency in utilising customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other relevant sales and marketing software to track, measure, and optimize performance.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for business purposes, with access to a car for work and a valid Driver's License.
