We're on a search for a commercially sharp finance leader ready to own the numbers and shape the strategy for one of Ireland's most recognisable consumer businesses. This is a senior individual contributor and people leadership role sitting directly on the Irish Leadership Team, reporting to the MD for Ireland. You will be the financial conscience of the business and a genuine commercial co-pilot not a back-office function. If you want a role where your work drives decisions at the very top, this is it.
What you'll own
- Full ownership of the P&L and Balance Sheet, including Zero Based Budgeting across the Irish business unit
- Driving commercial performance improvements price, mix, cost and surfacing the right opportunities at the right time
- Delivering accurate, timely financial reporting through core business routines that the senior team actually relies on
- Serving as a true business partner to the MD and Leadership Team, directly supporting delivery of the annual operating plan
- Leading, mentoring and developing a finance team building capability, best practice and efficiency
- Maintaining cross-functional alignment so financial and business goals move in the same direction
What you'll bring
- A background in FMCG finance, strategy or management consulting you understand how consumer businesses make money
- Advanced analytical skills and Excel fluency; you turn complex data into clear commercial insight
- Proven leadership and stakeholder influence you can challenge, align and carry a room at any level
- Ideally degree-qualified (finance, business or equivalent), though proven track record carries equal weight
- You’re curious, positive and enthusiastic.
