We are seeking a talented and driven individual to join a leading software company as an Internal Audit & External Compliance Manager. This is a new and exciting role created in response to the evolving compliance environment. As part of the dynamic team, you'll be responsible for overseeing group internal controls and external audit requirements, ensuring adherence to the internal audit standards, and collaborating with business leaders to monitor and enforce compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business process owners to design, implement, and monitor effective controls.
- Partner with parent company Internal Audit teams to understand evolving audit requirements and ensure our adoption.
- Lead the management and resolution of external audit actions, ensuring timely closure and effective remediation.
- Assist with AML risk assessments and ensure compliance.
- Work across time zones with global teams to manage audits and compliance.
- Provide clear, concise communication with internal stakeholders and external parties.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years' post-qualification experience in audit, ideally with a top 10 audit firm.
- Strong knowledge of Internal Audit Standards and audit project management.
- Understanding of the external audit process, from planning through to remediation.
- Experience in collaborating with business teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in data analysis (or a willingness to develop these skills).
- Highest standards of ethics, independence, and professionalism.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Auditboard or similar tools.
- Background in the software or tech industry.
- Membership in CIA or equivalent certification.
- Ability to assess compliance risks and escalate when necessary.
- French language skills (optional).
