We are working with one of Ireland’s leading print management, creative design, storage & logistics experts.This well-established and successful business is seeking to appoint a General Manager to join their senior leadership team.
This newly created position calls for a dynamic and ambitious General Manager. In this exciting and challenging role you will be responsible for managing and driving the day-to-day operations of the business including, but not limited to, working closely with the business operations team, leading, managing and motivating staff, improving business processes, maintaining exceptional customer service while maintaining the overall strategic business objectives.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Managing Director and work as a key part of the Senior Leadership Team.
As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you should possess the following key attributes:
- Previous general/operational management experience within a print, warehousing or logistics business.
- Well-developed people management, communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work closely with people across all levels of the business.
- Sound knowledge of the industry.
- Previous experience implementing policies and procedures that have helped streamline operations.
- Sound commercial acumen with an understanding of financial matters.
- An overall strategic outlook and a track record of exceeding business plans.
- Excellent customer relationship management skills.
- Excellent time management, presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
