Our client in the event and exhibitions industries are looking to recruit an Exhibition & Event Manager to join their team. Our client works with numerous well known, reputable brands to deliver memorable events and bring their products to life at exhibitions and tradeshows. The suitable candidate will have experience in running and managing tradeshows and exhibitions in the Irish or European markets.
Responsibilities:
- Exhibitor support during events.
- Budget Management.
- Liaise with design team and issue quotations for drawings for stands at exhibitions
- Attend meetings and site visits with both existing and new clients and take a new business / design brief when needed.
- Coordinate various services for clients; Act as a point of contact for all incoming communications.
- Draft quotes for installs and control costs on a project from start to finish.
- Brief in design team and assist with idea creation, when required.
- Liaise with purchasing manager to order items required for project, ensure all are within budget.
- Order all onsite services required by client.
- Order all logistics services required by client.
- Organise all logistics and plant hire for domestic shows.
- Liaising with our Production Team in finalising construction / installation.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential exhibition and event clients; research and develop a list of potential customers for exhibitions.
- Manage exhibition control documents and ensure adherence to plans.
- Setting, communicating, and maintaining timelines and priorities on every project.
- Travelling to onsite inspections.
- Update the company databases as required.
- Develop W Display order forms for show manuals for Exhibitions.
Skills & Requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience working in events.
- B.Sc. in Event Management or relevant qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Capacity to build and develop relationships with clients.
- Ability to work to deadlines in a highly pressured environment.
- Ability to work on your own initiative.
- The ability to manage a team on site along with various suppliers.
- A can-do positive attitude and a team player mentally.
- Flexible attitude towards working hours.
- Fluent in English and strong communication skills.
- Full Clean drivers’ licence.

Location: Dublin, Co. Dublin (And on-site when required).
Salary: 50k – 65k
