Educational Sales Representative

We are recruiting an experienced and motivated Sales Representative for a leading educational publisher in Ireland. This exciting role involves promoting a highly successful range of print, digital, and e-learning resources to primary and post-primary schools nationwide. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, proven sales ability, and the energy and resilience to manage a busy schedule of school visits and the daily delivery of book samples.

About the role

  • Manage relationships with key schools in your territory, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Promote and present products to educators and school decision-makers, securing orders.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets while actively growing product market share.
  • Participate in product launches and promotional conferences as required.
  • Organise, manage, and deliver products, including lifting and transporting books to schools and teachers.

About you

  • A working knowledge of and understanding of the Primary school sector in Ireland 
  • A proven track record in sales with a proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • Energy, drive and ambition, with the ability to handle challenges and drive to succeed
  • Knowledge of technology and ICT including the basics of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Comfortable with presenting via Microsoft Teams, Zoom and other virtual platforms 
  • The ability to work as an individual and as part of a highly successful team
  • Full driving licence
