The People Group are excited to partner with one of Dublin’s most luxurious & well-established hotels for this appointment. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, this is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, proactive & creative marketeer to join their team as Digital Marketing & Content Strategist.
The successful candidate will co-ordinate, manage & support all daily marketing functions and initiatives within the hotel. This person will ensure brand integrity, spearhead PR initiatives whilst promoting the business through both online and offline activity.
Accountabilities:
- Help plan and implement the annual marketing strategy.
- Social media – put in place an effective monthly calendar for all social content.
- Engage with relevant influencers to promote the property.
- Create a network of PR contacts to engage with to promote the hotel.
- Lead corporate & social responsibility activities, especially within the local community.
- Effective use of CRM tools to drive ongoing sales and business expansion.
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed by senior executives.
- Must be commercially aware with a view to maximizing profit through effective use of marketing expenses.
- Take ownership for the delivery of all marketing material both on and offline.
- Liaise effectively with internal & external partners to maximise marketing initiatives.
- Oversee and execute all email marketing campaigns.
Skills & Experience sought:
- The ideal candidate will be confident, energetic & proactive by nature.
- Must have a relevant marketing qualification.
- Ideally has 2 years’ experience in a marketing / marketing support role.
- Experience in creating & managing web content.
- Knowledge / experience of Google Analytics, Google Trends would be advantageous.
- Must be an effective relationship builder.
- Must be passionate about social media.
- Ideally enjoys brainstorming for that next great idea.
