Our client is a Major Trade Appliance Brand, who are currently seeking a Dealer Account Manager. The role is based in Dublin or Cork

Responsibilities:

  • To attain and retain a full product knowledge of all equipment, attending regular training and development events and completing all on-line E-learning modules.
  • Prepare and manage a regional business plan relating to customer visits, product demonstrations, marketing, presentations and dealer/consultant development.
  • Responsible for the sales process in the region to secure orders.  
  • Preparing and executing Cooking Live culinary events.
  • Increase customer base through customer development within a dedicated market segment and/or applicable commercial market segments by interacting with new customers, end-users, dealers and consultants to achieve the sales plan.
  • Manage and grow territory volume by pursuing both identified opportunities and creating new opportunities, with responsibility for pre-qualifying potential end-user customers.
  • Prospecting in person via cold calling and on the phone.
  • Increase customer base by growing and developing the Dealer network and Consultant/Designer network for specification.
  • Time management - preplan your daily/weekly/monthly plan. Work your plan and follow up.
  • Document all customer-related information and activity within our Customer Relationship Management system (SalesForce).
  • Prepare monthly sales reports/forecasts and provide customer analysis.
  • Develop, implement, and review with Sales Directors, business strategies documented in business  and marketing plans needed to secure and sustain growth targets.
  • Monitor and report issues affecting sales, competitive pressures in the market, and competitor activity.
  • Participate in Regional/National Trade shows, exhibitions to maximise sales potential and achieve the sales plan.
  • Attend regular sales meetings to review sales and performance results, activities, and strategic plan.

About You:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of sales experience within food service operations/chef experience desired; sales and/or marketing experience within the food/catering industry is preferred.
  • Have experience setting budgets, creating plans to meet budgets, and working your plan.
  • Have a proven track-record of increased sales/revenue.
  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; culinary degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Applicable food service certifications preferred.
  • Computer skills: Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.

Location: Dublin or Cork
