About the Company:
Ireland’s leading multi-disciplinary professional lighting specialists are looking for a new Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth.
Reporting to and working closely with the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in the existing team and have a great opportunity to influence the future growth and expansion of this exciting organisation.
A key element to achieving this is identifying new business development opportunities and building commercial agreements with clients or referrers through an expert understanding of the organisation’s business.
Role Overview:
- Represent our company’s products and services, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs.
- Meet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Generate new leads and build relationships by planning and organising a daily work schedule to call on potential or existing clients.
- Develop and implement territory action plan through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.
- Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
Candidate Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in the Construction industry; desirable selling to Architects, Designers, Shop fitting organisations
- Excellent negotiating and influencing skills with demonstrated outcomes
- Excellent client relationship management;
- Strategic and analytical capability with excellent commercial acumen
- Ability to manage projects and multi-task and
- Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
