As a Business Development Manager, you are someone who lives and breathes sales. That means, you are entrepreneurial in spirit, are an expert scheduler of time, and your diary is likely colour coded with appointments, time to develop proposals, and networking. You will be hardworking, and ready to join a successful team with a progressive culture.

About the role:

  • Develop and implement short, medium- and long-term sales plans to reach growth targets. 
  • Present prospective clients with proposals including data analysis to support the benefits of becoming a client.
  • Develop deep understanding of targeted market, monitoring market behaviour. 
  • Recruit, lead and develop a team of passionate, engaged and successful staff. 
  • Manage the established team and coach them in maximising sales and profitability through astute relationship management with their customers.
  • Developing targeted sales strategies to achieve organisational sales goals and revenues.

About you:

  • Proven experience (3 years +) in an international selling role, preferably within recruitment-related sales, classifieds, pay-per-click, or other digital marketing. 
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Team Management. 
  • Demonstrated ability driving successful sales teams through leadership and accountability.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans in response to market activity.
  • Analytical mindset with accurate record keeping, reporting and administration.
  • Motivation, a sense of initiative and strong business acumen.
  • Effective sales skills in negotiating and closing deals, especially in B2B sales.
