Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Delivery: Achieve sales budgets and weekly targets across all channels.
- Territory Management: Manage and grow customer accounts while adding new ones.
- Promotional Execution: Drive and execute customer promotions and warehouse stock pull-through.
- Store Visits: Complete 6-7 store visits daily, building strong relationships with retailers.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service, advising on competitive pricing and value.
- Pipeline & New Business: Manage the sales pipeline and drive new business development.
- Market Research: Conduct research and use comparison reports to inform retail partners.
- Journey Planning: Follow a structured journey plan aligned with business objectives.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with buyers, reordering teams, and colleagues.
- Performance Reporting: Track sales, margins, and business development for growth targets.
The ideal you
- Minimum 3 years previous Account Management in sales or Business Development experience
- A demonstrated high-level understanding of the FMCG business environment, preferably in the grocery sector.
- Able to work as a team member within the ethos and values of the company.
- Strong customer relationship management ability.
- Results & KPI driven
- Proficient in securing back-office excellence in stores through demonstrating professional advice in all stores.
- Effective sales and margin management experience
- Understanding of the legislative requirements around H&S, Food Safety and HR from a retail perspective
- Up to date, competent and informed about key social media platforms
- Proven ability to maximise all commercial opportunities
- Full, clean driving license.
