The role is a hands-on business development position, and the right candidate will be involved in all sales-related business activities of the company. Responsibilities:
- Managing and developing new and existing Retail accounts.
- Training and assisting operators that handle the client’s product range.
- Excellence in execution of the company’s portfolio across your area.
- Providing impeccable customer service, as well as outstanding product and industry knowledge.
- Expansion of the current offering to existing accounts.
- Respond swiftly to all customer queries, resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Pushing constant improvement of product knowledge and sharing this with customers to increase sales.
- Maintenance of CRM data for internal use, field management and analysis;
- Liaising and working with other functions in the company to achieve shared company goals.
Skills:
- Commercially minded with a strong track record in sales within the retail and/or food service industry sector.
- Customer-focused with the ability to build strong customer relationships with customers and deliver solutions that are tailored to their needs.
- Strong financial acumen – the ability to utilise sales data to make informed business decisions that will benefit the company.
- Passionate about Food and Retail – with a hands-on approach to selling.
- Excellent communication skills which convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
- Ability to achieve targets even under challenging circumstances.
- Full driving licence.
- Food retail, culinary, hospitality, or beverage education or experience is desirable.
