BULK Food & Drink Business Development Manager

Representing a successful and innovative drinks manufacturer specializing in high-quality beverages, offering Own Label products to large retail chains and drinks manufacturers. Delivering premium solutions tailored to clients’ needs in an ever-evolving market.

We are seeking a dynamic and driven International Business Developer to join our team. The primary focus of this role will be to expand our ‘Own Label’ business by developing and nurturing relationships with key buyers and manufacturers in the drinks sector. Primarily focusing on US and European markets. This role requires a proven track record in international business development and a strong understanding of the drinks manufacturing industry.

The successful candidate will travel internationally (at least one week per month) to meet potential clients, attend exhibitions, and negotiate contracts, with the goal of expanding our market share and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic international business development plan targeting the US & European markets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with large retail buyers, procurement teams, and drinks manufacturers, promoting our Own Label product range.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, focusing on expanding our presence in key international markets.
  • Attend and represent the company at international trade shows and industry exhibitions.
  • Negotiate and secure contracts with large key retail chains and drinks manufacturers.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, product development, production) to ensure client needs are met and projects are delivered successfully.
  • Provide market insights and competitor analysis to inform business strategy and product development.
  • Achieve sales and revenue targets in line with company goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in international business development, ideally within the drinks manufacturing sector.
  • Experience selling an Own Label solution or bulk food and drink.  Experience selling to large retailers or drinks manufacturers.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (one week per month) for client meetings, exhibitions, and negotiations.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
