Our client’s branch in South Dublin is now seeking to recruit a Branch Manager - Reporting to the Regional Director East, the Branch Manager is a self-motivated and results-driven leader responsible for managing a growing business in the Dublin area. This role involves overseeing daily operations, developing and executing strategies for profitable growth, and fostering a culture that builds lasting relationships and sustainable success.
Role Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Oversee the branch’s day-to-day business activities and lead the team to ensure that clear targets and objectives are set and consistently met.
- Customer Management: Maintain and nurture an existing portfolio of customers while actively pursuing new opportunities to increase market share.
- Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate and manage staff resources in response to changing business needs.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new avenues for growth, ensuring the business remains competitive in the market.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
- Health & Safety: Uphold high standards of health and safety by enforcing relevant policies, procedures, and rules.
Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in team management, with proven strong leadership skills.
- Robust sales background, ideally within the building materials sector.
