Are you a hands-on hospitality leader with a passion for guest service and team development? A leading 4-star hotel is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bars Manager to lead it’s the operations of it’s multiple bars and deliver exceptional service in a vibrant and customer-focused environment.
About the Role:
As Bars Manager, you will oversee all aspects of bar service and operations—ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience while maintaining operational efficiency and cost control. You’ll manage a dynamic team, foster a service-driven culture, and play a key role in driving revenue, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the hotel’s bars, ensuring a warm, efficient, and professional service.
- Create a motivating team environment focused on service excellence and guest satisfaction.
- Prepare rosters based on business levels and manage labour costs within budget.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, monitor beverage costs, and control waste/breakage.
- Drive beverage sales through proactive engagement with guests and upselling techniques.
- Train, mentor, and develop bar staff to meet service and product knowledge standards.
- Manage guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, food safety (HACCP), and cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with F&B and hotel leadership on menu planning, special events, and promotions.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Bar(s) Manager or Assistant Bar(s) Manager in a busy hospitality setting.
- Strong knowledge of beverage operations, stock control, and cash handling.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to coach, train, and motivate a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A genuine passion for the hospitality industry and delivering a top-tier guest experience.
