The Opportunity
Our client, a highly regarded and growing professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Audit Director to join its expanding Audit & Assurance practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an established Director or a Senior Audit Manager ready to take the next step into a leadership position.
Working with a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients, you will play a key role in leading audit engagements, developing teams, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance assignments.
- Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders.
- Plan, review and deliver audit engagements to the highest standards.
- Lead, mentor and develop high-performing audit teams.
- Provide technical guidance on audit and financial reporting matters.
- Support business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to drive operational and commercial success.
About You
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified.
- Extensive audit experience gained within a professional practice environment.
- Proven experience operating at Senior Manager or Director level.
- Strong knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards, including FRS 102 and IFRS.
- Excellent leadership, communication and client management skills.
- Commercially focused with the ability to develop new and existing client relationships.
- Experience across a broad range of industry sectors is desirable.
