Are you a people-focused leader with a background in retail or hospitality? A well-established, fast-paced venue in the Tramore area is looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations, lead a close-knit team, and deliver excellent customer experiences in a dynamic environment. As Assistant Manager, you’ll be an integral part of the retail operations team, working closely with the Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day running of the venue. You’ll help drive customer engagement, support your team’s development, and uphold high operational and service standards.
Industry experience is not required. We welcome candidates with experience in retail or hospitality—for example, Assistant Managers from food retailers, hotels, discount chains, or phone stores.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the Manager in the overall supervision and daily operations of the club.
- Deliver 5-star customer service while promoting responsible gaming practices.
- Resolve customer queries professionally and in line with company policies.
- Lead, coach, and develop your team, ensuring strong communication and morale.
- Engage with new processes and initiatives to improve performance.
- Maintain compliance with operational procedures, health & safety, and company policies.
- Contribute to staff recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
Who You Are:
- 2+ years of Assistant Manager experience in retail or hospitality.
- Strong leadership, organisation, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and a quick learner with internal systems.
- A calm, professional approach to handling challenges.
- Experience delivering real-time coaching or on-the-floor training to team members.
- A people-first mindset, with the ability to inspire and influence those around you.
