The client is a young, exciting, and leading sales and marketing agency, which brings together a unique portfolio of the most innovative up and coming brands in the fast-moving consumer goods sector, including one of Irelands leading plant milk as well as also representing and distributing more than 10 premium food and beverage brands across Ireland. 
As they continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join a growing team who are passionate about building exciting brands in the Irish market. This exciting role will see you play a key role in a highly motivated team, helping to manage global brands and work with some of Ireland’s largest businesses (retailers).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • As a trusted and critical member of staff, you will be able to enter and code financial transactions appropriately and process payments and invoices
  • Working closely with our leadership team, you will be able to make and track payments and produce reports on a daily / monthly basis 
  • You will be responsible for reviewing employee expenses and make reimbursements
  • You will be tasked with managing banking and related processes whilst keeping accurate records and keeping us on budget 
  • A key part will be managing cashflow forecast and reporting against this accurately
  • We will need you to check all financial transactions for accuracy and plug the key data into company accounting system – Xero
  • From time to time, you will be required to supply key customers in the US office with information. 
  • Your communication skills will help us by answering and making calls to support the team and office manager. Whilst including general administrative duties such as filing, emails and communication with the UK and client staff teams

Competencies:

  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams and ideally with 1-2 years in a similar role 
  • You will be positive and proactive; understand how to communicate with team members 
  • With self-drive, you will know how to manage your administrative duties accurately and in a trusted manner whilst reporting to achieve high levels of success
  • Knowledge in accounting software (XERO) and experience of SAGE would be an advantage. 
  • Knowledge of accountant rules and legislation, VAT, VIES and CSO returns 
  • Experience in B2B (business to business) is preferred. Along with knowledge of the FMCG industry would be beneficial
  • Being a trusted member of the team, we will need you to effectively manage budgets, processes, and systems 
  • Being able to use Microsoft programmes such as word and excel to prepare reports and spreadsheets will be key
