As part of the Finance Team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the accounts payable function for several companies. They will work closely with Accountants and Executives to ensure invoices are processed quickly, accurately and in line with relevant contracts.   • Reviewing, verifying and processing a high volume of invoices.
  • Dealing with supplier queries.
  • Preparing & processing weekly supplier payment runs.
  • Processing intercompany PO & Recharges.
  • Monthly creditor reconciliations.
  • Reconciliation of Direct Debit mandates.
  • Processing bank transactions.
  • Preparing monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Processing employee expenses, per diems & credit card transactions.
  • Processing company online purchases.
  • Revenue returns.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc book-keeping and accounts maintenance tasks as required.

About You:

  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • At least 3+ years in busy accounts payable role preferable.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and to work as part of a team.
  • Experience in general accounting and control / reconciliation tasks.
  • Accounting technician or part-qualified accountant.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometimes implement own processes.
