Responsibilities:
- Monthly sales entry.
- Weekly bank reconciliations.
- Promptly dealing with incoming supplier queries by email and phone.
- Process, review and upload purchase invoices.
- Imports into Sage – invoices and receipts.
- Process and upload bank payments.
- Monthly supplier reconciliations.
- Weekly supplier payments using IBB.
- Process petty cash and expenses.
- Bi-monthly VAT return.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Experience:
- Experience of Sage Accounts 50.
- Experience in a busy accounting environment (retail experience would be an advantage).
- Excellent analytic skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to work to high standards and tight deadlines.
- Excellent PC skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.
- Team player with the ability to organise and prioritise workload.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to meet weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting deadlines.
